Rocketts Landing Community Pool Opens

Sunny days. BBQs. Picnics. River views. Ahhh, yes -- and the pool.

With warmer days now at our doorstep, nothing says "welcome to summer" better than smearing on the sunblock and lounging poolside with family and friends. And we're pleased to announce Rocketts Landing's community pool opened for residents on May 28.

The pool's season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and operating hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Reserved for Rocketts Landing residents and their guests, pool use is included in association dues, so no additional membership fee is required.

As the only riverfront pool in downtown Richmond, residents enjoy wonderful views of the city skyline and the James River winding directly below. And when the summer heat really starts kicking in, we can always hear them taking a dip (or two or three) in the refreshing cold water while river sights and sounds flow in the background.

Though they planned no official Memorial Day pool celebration to bring in the season, we do look forward to seeing residents use our poolside lawn and picnic tables in the months ahead. On those hot afternoon days, the frolicking fun of picnic pool dates always makes for the perfect summer occasion after a hard day’s work. And a community pool party is in the works for later in the summer — and we know for sure our residents will plan quite a splashin’ event.
