Rocketts Landing’s Community Pool Is Open

Get your bathing suits out and sunblock on, residents! Rocketts Landing's community pool is now open and ready for your summertime relaxation. As Richmond's only riverfront pool, our residents enjoy the epitome of summer fun. From swimming with family and playing games poolside to sunbathing against the backdrop of the James River and downtown skyline, Rocketts Landing's community pool is the place to be during the summer season.
Where is the pool located?
Rocketts Landing's community pool is located along the river by the community garden below our Fall Line residential building.
What is the pool's operating season?
The pool opened on Saturday, May 26, and will remain open throughout the summer until Monday, September 3.
What are the pool hours?
Our community pool opens each morning at 11:00 a.m. and closes at 8:00 p.m.
Is the pool for residents' use only?
Rocketts Landing residents can invite up to four guests at a time to join them at the pool, and there is no guest fee for their use.
Is there a pool house to use?
A modern pool house is on site and offers residents (and their guests) access to restrooms, showers and refreshments.
Are any games allowed at the pool?
We certainly allow games and family fun! Float devices are on site, and residents can even bring their own and store them in the pool house, with the lifeguards’ discretion. We also have cornhole and ladderball sets on hand for you to use and more games are in the works!
Can residents bring food and drinks to the pool?
We welcome residents to bring their own picnics to enjoy, whether poolside or at a picnic table on the lawn. Just please don’t bring any glass bottles or containers!
Can residents reserve the pool for their own pool parties?
The Rocketts Landing community pool is available to rent for residents’ own pool parties on a case-by-case basis. Due to popular weekend use, however, we cannot rent the pool during weekend hours.
