Rawls McNelis + Mitchell Joins the Rocketts Landing Family

Here at Rocketts Landing, we think of our residents and commercial tenants like family. So, we're thrilled to announce a new addition to our growing brood: Rawls McNelis + Mitchell, a law firm specializing in complex medical cases. Our newest commercial tenant just moved into 211 Rocketts Way (also our former sales center), and they've definitely made themselves quickly at home!

According to Practice Manager Tracee Brantner, the firm wanted a change from their previous downtown location and was looking for a space that defied the stodgy, bland look so many law offices embrace. With support from Rocketts Landing's developers, Rawls McNelis + Mitchell transformed an open, historic building into a real showplace — in only one month! And, from the first moment you walk in their front door, there's no question this building goes far beyond the typical law firm's office.

You might notice the gorgeous wood beams and exposed brick first, but the feature that leaves the most meaningful impression is the remarkable amount of natural light. Forget dreary fluorescent bulbs, tight offices and drab cubicles. Rawls McNelis + Mitchell purposefully designed their space to let in as much natural light as possible. From glass doors to half-wall dividers, their two-story office gives off a vibrant vibe that reflects the boutique firm’s engaging personality.

Though they’re still completing their move, the firm’s 30 attorneys and support staff are already enjoying the perks that come with their new office space (hello, free parking and river access!). After hosting a company meeting at M Bistro and client lunches at The Boathouse, they’re quickly embracing our awesome restaurants — and looking forward to new dining options in the future (yep, we have some great food developments in the works, but more on that topic later!). And as Brantner explained, they’re excited to grow their firm and be a part of Rocketts Landing as we grow, too.
