When 210 Rock resident Donnell Brantley moved from New York City to Richmond, she sought a place to live that was both urban and cozy. After visiting then-newly developed Rocketts Landing, she immediately knew she had found her new home.
"I drove down to Rocketts Landing and as soon as I turned the corner, I was like, 'Oh yeah, this is good,'" says Donnell, who's now also the president of 210 Rock's Board of Directors and one of the original residents. "I'm a New Yorker, and Rocketts Landing has a real New York flavor."
So it's only fitting that Donnell found an affinity toward a building coincidentally named with floor plans after Big Apple references: Chelsea Flat, Tribeca Flat, Gramercy Flat and Soho Flat (with a nod to "30 Rock" in our building's name).

Donnell also loves the water, and life along the James River fulfills her nature-loving side, too. She and her husband own a boat, which they dock at the marina and take out for a ride whenever the mood hits. For days when they feel like relaxing, Donnell sits back and enjoys the “park-like” views from their sixth-floor balcony overlooking the community, river and downtown skyline.
“This is a beautiful place to live,” she says.
Donnell’s story is like many we hear from Rocketts Landing residents who have found their home at 210 Rock. Seeking modern living and riverfront relaxation, they find 210 Rock provides the balance of both worlds — and with condo prices starting at an all-time low of $189,900, a Rocketts Landing lifestyle has never been more attractive.
Whether you enjoy the comforts of a one- or two-bedroom floor plan, or a more expansive loft, we have a variety of homes to suit your needs. This distinctive, contemporary building sets the trend for urban living in Richmond and boasts the neighborhood’s first retail and office space.
There’s also an array of residents to connect with when you feel like being social. In fact, 210 Rock residents just wrapped up their annual “Meet and Greet” social on the rooftop — one of many ways they stay involved with each other and the community. Donnell says residents often hang out together on the rooftop, so the Board is purchasing outdoor furniture for everyone to enjoy while up there.
“Everybody’s friendly,” explains Donnell. “There are both older and younger residents. Our board is dynamic. And we all interact together. This is a wonderful community to live in.”
