And based on the enthusiastic beer drinkers who visited Rocketts Landing for the 3rd annual BEER-istoric Richmond Tour, Richmond's forging a renewed place in beer history.

What do you get when you combine Rocketts Landing residents with a "horror" costume theme? One heck of a Halloween party, that's what! On October 27, the residents' Social Committee gathered for a Halloween celebration complete with werewolves, zombies and ghosts (oh my!) -- and everyone put on their most horrifying best for a night to remember.

At Rocketts Landing, we're huge fans of all the great culinary talent guiding our community's restaurants. Thanks to you, Richmond, the Neighborhood Resource Center (NRC) successfully raised over $30,000 in their biggest Rocketts Landing Run to the River yet! As both a fundraiser for the Fulton Hill-based nonprofit and urban cross-country 10k run/5k walk, Run to the River brings everyone together for a day of competitive racing and community camaraderie in Richmond's East End -- and we couldn't be more pleased with the event's success!

The weather's supposed to be perfect this weekend, which is fantastic news for the Rocketts Landing Run to the River! As Richmond's most challenging urban cross-country race, Run to the River combines athleticism with fundraising to help support local nonprofit the Neighborhood Resource Center (NRC). We are super excited to again serve as race sponsors, so we thought we'd share some insider's tips on how you can make this race the most successful yet!

We might not have won the race, but that didn't stop us from enjoying another great International Dragon Boat Festival at Rocketts Landing. Last Saturday, around 1,000 people came out along the James River -- and with perfect fall weather and the city skyline as the backdrop, we couldn't have asked for a better day!

Our fall event season is off to a great start here at Rocketts Landing, and this weekend, we welcome the International Dragon Boat Festival! In its third year at our community, the festival brings China to the banks of the James River with dragon boat races, cultural performances, ethnic cuisine and more. And with our own Rocketts Landing dragon boat team in the competitive mix, Saturday can't arrive soon enough!

Last weekend, Richmonders dressed up and partied down to support cancer research and care at the 3rd Annual Massey on the River at Rocketts Landing. We were thrilled to host the event along the banks of the James River for the first time -- and over 800 people came out for the fun while raising money for VCU Massey Cancer Center.
