Another Rocketts Landing event season is just around the corner, friends. And what a year we have in store for you! Not only will you get to enjoy many of our regular events -- such as Richmond.com's "Best of Outdoors" favorites -- we also have new and recently returning events in the mix designed to take advantage of all our riverfront community has to offer. So grab your calendars (let's be real: your phones), because our 2013 Rocketts Landing event season is about to take off!

Love is in the air at Rocketts Landing restaurants, and our community's chefs are cooking up a swoon-worthy feast just for you! From selections such as Creole Paella, Smoked Bourbon Rack of Lamb and Grilled Wild Boar Chop to our community's incredible riverfront views and more, Rocketts Landing restaurants will give you and your Valentine a night to remember.

Happy Friday, friends! Today, we're continuing our series of Rocketts Landing Q&As with Conch Republic's Executive Chef Shaun Watts. We've previously profiled M Bistro's Owner and Chef Michael Hall and The Boathouse's Executive Chef Todd Richardson. And if there's one consistent theme we're finding, it's that our community's chefs are truly passionate about creating inspiring cuisine. We've been planning, the riverfront's been waiting and now it's official: We've broken ground on Riverbank Terraces! As the newest addition to our community, these luxury townhomes will offer unmatched riverfront living at Rocketts Landing. And we couldn't be more thrilled for the development.

We're thrilled to be starting 2013 off with a bang at Rocketts Landing. From new home construction, restaurants and events on the way, (which we can't wait to share with you soon!), we have a lot of exciting things in store. One of which is our newest Rocketts team member: Stephani Fowler.

We've done it again, friends! Every year, Richmond.com compiles a list of the "Richmond Outdoors: Best of" goings-on around our fair river city. And for the second year in a row, Rocketts Landing events made the list!

The new year is in full swing, and Rocketts Landing residents wasted no time making sure everyone rang in 2013 in style! Organized by the residents' Social Committee, they celebrated the holidays with festive frills, a homemade ball drop and a fundraising drive -- continuing to prove just how much our residents enjoy each other's company and having a great time (aren't we lucky!).

Monday has arrived, and we're super stoked for the grand opening of Richmond's newest Mexican restaurant, Casa del Barco! Though not located in our community, we do have some Rocketts "family" in the operational mix: The Boathouse owner Kevin Healy and our community's developer WVS Companies. And after months of anticipation, we're thrilled to share that their big opening is tonight.
